Sounds like your latest perceived challenges will keep your life as stimulating as ever. It will be interesting to learn how your initial observations evolve through your college experience. Priorities change.

Hi,

I don't know where you lived before going to college. I used to live in Illinois and in 2000 moved to a city in the Southern Philippines, Davao City. It is tropical here and a lot hotter most of the time than my home in Southern Illinois.

I got used to the temperature in a few months and now when I visit the US I notice how much I have acclimated to Davao City.

I like the temperature here during the day but sleep with an air conditioner running. It allows me to sleep in comfort.

I hope you have a wonderful experience at college.

glad to hear your comments becuase my son is a freshman at coastal and it's nice to hear about the school and what you are experiencing since we don't speak to him all that much. Thanks for your blog and good luck in getting used to time management and finding a parking spot!
