America Makes Me Sick

America is the pinnacle of a totalitarian government.  They proved that on 9/11.  They bombed their own buildings and buried all the evidence, then blamed it on a “radical terrorist group,” and we actually believed them, even though they destroyed all the evidence, and had no basis for their argument other than the basis they created themselves.  They used demolition charges in the Twin Towers, causing them to fall at free fall speed, something that even on 9/11 I knew was fabricated.  There is no way a building that strong just falls down in less than 10 seconds after being hit by a plane at the top.  No way.  These were steel-columned buildings.  And Dick Cheney took over Norad on that day or the day before and told the people there not to shoot down the planes.  No president or vice president had ever taken over Norad before.  The people who shoot down the planes were doing a drill that simulated planes attacking the World Trade Center on the very same day.  Give me a break, America.

Sure, I live in America.  I eat the food loaded with pesticides and drink the water full of radioactivity.   My ecological footprint is lower than the average American, but I bet it’s still 10 times more than a tribeswoman in Kenya.  I’m not addicted to more and more like th average American because I know that doing this is only feeding the problem.  I do buy some things new, but I mostly buy used because things that are used work just the same or maybe just a little worse than a brand new item.  I try not to become immersed in the world of pop culture because it is like a drug, just like civilization itself.  It is a very destructive drug and it is fueled by the marketing and advertising firms.  The whole message is that you’re not good enough until you buy our product.  Then your life will become amazing.  Well, people continue to buy and buy, and their lives aren’t much better.  They may get like a high from buying the item, but afterwards they need to buy something else to feel the same high again.  Consumerism is a drug.

America runs on consumption.  It should be the new national pastime.  Forget baseball.  The more we buy, the more the rich get richer.  The people who own these establishments from which we buy our addictions from become giants who now have leverage in politics, leading to a fascist state.  We are going from freedom to fascism.  But who are we kidding?  Freedom has never been a top priority in America.  Remember what we did to the Native Americans?  And the Africans?  Not to mentioin the Japanese in WWII.  Where was their freedom?  Even Columbus used to hack up Native Americans and feed them to his dogs.  “All men are created equal” was complete and utter bullshit at the time they wrote it, and it’s still bullshit today.  Why do 5 companies own all the television stations in America?  Because they want to keep our perspectives narrow to their unenlightened self interests.

The all American corporation Wal-Mart is the pinnacle of the fascist rule.  It exploits workers in this country and far worse in other countries to keep their prices so low that they are growing while most of the other stores are shrinking.  They continue to expand without limit because they keep people down by allowing them to earn a lower wage and still be able to eat.  They outlast their competition because they’ll always have the lower price because they are that much better at exploiting labor.  And people shop there because they have to.  As the middle class falls lower and lower into the lower class, more and more people are forced to shop at Wal-Mart or just simply eat less.  And the people at the top of this pyramid scheme keep getting richer and the poor get poorer.  Why does America have to be this way?

The poor have vices like no other.  They drink, smoke cigarettes, and do illegal drugs.  I often wondered why they did this, spending money they could use for food and shelter on booze and tobacco, so I asked someone about it, and they said, “When you’re poor, your existence is pretty much hopeless.   Your work is long and hard.  You feel powerless and hopeless about your future, so you need a vice to at least feel good some of the time.”  But having a vice hampers their ability to better themselves.  And the people at Coors and Marlboro are happy to sell them complacency in the form of addictions.  Because anything to shut them up, to keep them from actually participating in what they call a democracy today.  Television is another version of this drug.  It keeps us passive, watching the screen for hours on end, contributing nothing, and fighting for nothing.  Why do you think the government is paying for poor people to have converter boxes for non-cable TV?  It’s that important to their whole scheme.

It’s not quite 1985 and it’s not quite Brave New World, but this new America has pieces of each.  It especially has parts of Animal Farm.  We are conditioned from an early age to believe what Mother Culture tells us to believe, that life is lived only under the chains of civlization and any othe way is far worse.  Then there’s the whole 1984 scenario, where we are being watched almost everywhere we go, soon we’ll have RFID chips in our skin and be subject to more and more restrictions on our freedoms.  At least it’s comforting to know that America is going down in flames soon because we are losing money every day and the economy will never bounce back and if it does, it will only be temporary because it is only boosted by fake money that was printed out of thin air, money that will never be paid for because it’s easier to just print more money.  Soon we’ll have hyperinflation in this country and it will cost $150,000 for a loaf of bread and millionaires will be considered poor.  Even billionaires will be thought of as lower middle class.

Our national debt is in the trillions, but we keep spending because we’re addicted to it.   Nothing gets us higher than buying and spending and not caring about the consequences.  Maybe the human race wasn’t cut  out for civilization after all.  Our biological needs and addictions get in the way of forming a society that will actually work indefinitely.  So why do we keep doing it?  It’s like a drug addict who is killing his body by taking the drug, and knows it, but cannot stop because of the physical dependence on it.  The same way the rulers of the country are addicted to tighter and tighter control, because it’s easier and more gratifying to squeeze tighter than it is to let go.  These are the people who fantasize about a police state, one where they know where every human being is at every time, under what they refer to as a One World Government.  They’ve already signed the North American Union without the public’s knowledge because the media, owned by 5 companies, did not report on it because then it would lead to ordinary Americans knowing too much.  As someone I can’t remember once said, if we knew even 1% of what went on in this country, we would have a revolution.  But we’re kept in the dark purposely so that the rich and elites of this country can carve up this once beautiful land a little finer among themselves.

Aren’t you proud to be an American? I know I’m not. I was born here by chance and until I find a better place to live, I’ll stay on the fringe of America. Just because I live here doesn’t mean I have to participate in the mind-numbing rituals of America. Our whole culture is killing us.
